Things change quickly. As of March 6, there are now 3 confirmed diagnoses of COVID-19 in individuals in Texas: two in Harris county and one in Fort Bend county which borders Harris county. All three people had traveled abroad recently. https://www.dshs.texas.gov/ coronavirus/
As we pray for these three people, their families, and the medical personnel who are caring for them, continue to follow all of the precautionary measures we’ve been talking about.
Lord God and Healer of all, be with those all over the world who are sick with the caronavirus and all those who are caring for them. So fill them with your life giving love that they would know the peace and hope that can only come from you. Be with all who are anxious about this disease spreading; may we lift up our eyes to you, our true Help and Healer. We praise you for the communities we live in, may we find our strength in the communion and fellowship we have through your Son, our savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
