On the evening of October 25th, we hosted our annual Trunk-or-Treat event. Throughout the month, we gathered our costumes and trunk decorations, piled up hundreds of pounds of candy, bought enough hotdogs to feed a ballpark for a weekend, booked bouncy-houses/balloon artists/face-painters, and spread the word to everyone we knew! All that work paid off because between 5:30 and 7:00 that evening we had over 1,000 men, women, and children parade through our parking lot! With our pre-school classes and teachers, we had 30 candy stations represented and trunks of all styles and levels of spooky fun. Our parking lot was full of barbies, dinosaurs, princesses, astronauts, skeletons, pumpkins, sharks, firefighters, Mario’s, and more! We also use this event as an opportunity to collect food donations for the Jubilee Center food pantry in Midland and filled a trailer to the brim!
Each year this event grows larger, and we don’t see that stopping any time soon. Here’s to many more years of Halloween fun at Holy Trinity Midland!
