September 2024 Canterbury Update

Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry at Texas Tech began the semester with a bang from August 17-21 during Texas Tech Freshman Welcome Week. Canterbury hosted hundreds of students over a four day period with a game night, movie night, art night, and a karaoke night. Here at the beginning of the semester, we have made many new friends and look forward to what will happen in the coming year. During the month of September, we look forward to Bishop Mayer confirming five of our students on September 29. In October, we look forward to going to the local corn maze, hosting a Pride Eucharist, and attending Diocesan Convention. In November, we look forward to our yearly Thanksgiving dinner. And, finally, in December, we look forward to celebrating Lessons and Carols together as we celebrate the end of another semester.
